The 4 common problems with parasols

Problem #1: Canvas discoloration
The first problem a parasol can face is fading of the fabric. The fabric is exposed to UV rays throughout the summer, which can damage the color if it's not of excellent quality. To prevent this, we recommend choosing acrylic fabrics , which are of better quality because the color is truly infused into the fibers. Generally, we advise opting for light-colored fabrics like white or ecru, as the color won't fade. Also, be wary of moonlight, which can also damage the fabric. The best thing to do is to close your parasol and put it back in its protective cover as soon as you're not using it.
Problems #2 & 3: Mold and rust
The second problem you might encounter with a parasol is mold growth on the fabric. This happens when the parasol is exposed to moisture or when it's folded while still wet. To avoid this, the best thing to do is never fold your parasol unless it's completely dry . Secondly, we recommend putting the parasol in its cover during inclement weather or during the winter and, whenever possible , storing it indoors in a dry place where it can't be exposed to moisture.

Problem #4: Breaks due to wind
Finally, the last problem with parasols is their tendency to break in strong winds. The fabric can tear and the frame can break. The first thing to do to avoid this is to be vigilant.
