Polyester, olefin or acrylic?
The main difference between our parasols lies in the fabric. Polyester is the affordable option for enjoying our innovative product. Olefin offers the ideal compromise. Acrylic is the uncompromising choice for excellence.

POLYESTER CANVAS
The most accessible
This fabric is ideal for use a few weeks a year. On our polyester canvases, we've enhanced the colorfastness treatment, moving from the "classic" treatment (found on almost all entry-level retailers) to a stronger, more effective, and longer-lasting one. However, polyester, especially in dark colors (gray, taupe), will eventually fade.
OLEFIN CANVAS
The best value for money
These are excellent quality fabrics, priced between polyester and acrylic for semi-intensive use. With a matte finish and a silky feel, this fabric offers better ventilation than polyester.
THE ACRYLIC CANVAS
The very best!
This is the most durable fabric for heavy-duty or professional use. Developed by Dickson®, our premium canvases are solution-dyed acrylic. The visual appearance will differ from polyester or olefin, offering a superior quality look, a more pleasant feel, and colorfastness, even after years of use!
UV resistance
Our fabrics offer maximum UV protection with a UPF 50+ rating . Fade resistance depends on the fabric type and dyeing process used. Thanks to the solution dyeing process, which dyes the fiber throughout, acrylic and olefin fabrics retain their color longer than polyester.
