Please note that you can save or print these terms and conditions of sale. MRJ Concept may amend these terms and conditions when required by law and reserves the right to modify them at any time. Any changes made to the new terms and conditions of sale will then be immediately applicable.


Article 1 - Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale govern distance sales made on the website https://www.belveo.fr by SAS MRJ Concept at 480 bis rue Albert Bailly 59700 Marcq en Baroeul, of garden furniture products including parasols, shade sails, pergolas and accessories.

Article 2 - Price

The prices of our products are indicated in euros inclusive of all taxes (VAT and other taxes applicable on the day of the order), unless otherwise stated and excluding processing and shipping costs.

The delivery rates apply to mainland France only, excluding Corsica. Deliveries to Corsica are subject to specific conditions. Furthermore, if you are ordering from a country other than mainland France, you are considered the importer of the product(s) in question. Customs duties, other local taxes, import duties, or state taxes may be payable. These duties and amounts are not the responsibility of MRJ Concept SAS. They are your responsibility and must be paid by you, both in terms of declarations and payments to the relevant authorities and organizations in your country. We advise you to inquire about these matters with your local authorities.

All orders, regardless of origin, are payable in euros.

MRJ Concept SAS reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the product will be billed based on the price in effect at the time the order is validated and subject to availability.

The products remain the property of SAS MRJ Concept until full payment of the price.

Warning: as soon as you take physical possession of the ordered products, the risks of loss or damage to the products are transferred to you.

MRJ Concept SAS reserves the right not to register a payment, and not to confirm an order for any reason whatsoever, and more particularly in the event of supply problems, or in the event of difficulties concerning the order received.

Article 4 - Order Confirmation

Any order placed on the website https://www.belveo.fr/ implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any order confirmation constitutes your full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. All data provided and the recorded confirmation will serve as proof of the transaction.

You declare that you are fully aware of this.

Order confirmation will constitute signature and acceptance of the transactions carried out.

A summary of your order information and these General Terms and Conditions will be sent to you via the email address used to confirm your order.

Article 5 - Payment

By confirming your order, you agree to pay the indicated price.

Payment for your purchases can be made using various payment methods:

Credit card. The card is debited at the time of the order.
Bank transfer. Your package will be shipped as soon as the transfer is received in the bank account described below:

Article 6 – Security of banking data

For each product offered for sale, the customer has the option to pay by credit card by providing their 16-digit card number, expiry date, and the security code on the back of the card. The customer's bank may request authentication at the time of payment by any method agreed upon between the customer and their bank (3D Secure process – Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode). Ordered products remain the property of MRJ Concept until full payment of the invoice. The customer confirms having the necessary authorization to make the payment by credit card.

The customer connects to the website https://www.belveo.fr/ via the internet using any available means of communication. The company XXXXXXXXX uses the encryption methods provided by CIC to secure banking transactions in accordance with applicable legislation. Banking information is transmitted only to CIC, is not stored by MRJ Concept, and is encrypted using 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer). The appearance of " https://... " in the address bar and/or the padlock icon in the browser during payment constitutes accepted proof of this encryption by the customer.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal and return of products

You have a 30-day withdrawal period from the date of receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to provide any justification or pay any penalty. You will be refunded the full price of the returned products, but we do not refund delivery charges.

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw from your order. You can submit your request by email to contact@belveo.com .

Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions). You are responsible for the condition of the returned items. Any damage to the product during return shipping may invalidate your right of withdrawal.

Please note: if you return incomplete, damaged, or defective items, you will be charged a restocking fee. Products that are too damaged by the customer to be usable will not be accepted for return.

Return your items via courier, at your own expense. Contact us at contact@belveo.com so we can provide you with the return address.

MRJ Concept is obligated to reimburse the customer for all sums paid, excluding return shipping costs, which remain the customer's responsibility. Therefore, if the right of withdrawal is exercised, MRJ Concept SAS will reimburse the sums paid, excluding return shipping costs, within 30 days of receiving your notification, using the same payment method used for the original order.

Article 8 - Availability

Our products are offered as long as they are visible on the website https://www.belveo.fr/ and while stocks last. For products not in stock, our offers are valid subject to availability from our suppliers.
If a product is unavailable after you place your order, we will inform you by email as soon as possible (within 8 days at the latest). In this case, we will offer you the option of either canceling your order or waiting for delivery from our supplier, specifying the estimated delivery time.

Article 9 – Delivery

Delivery is made to your home with or without an appointment by courier, express or specialized carrier, depending on the size of your packages.

The products are delivered to the delivery address indicated during the ordering process, within the timeframe indicated on the order confirmation page.

As stated in Article 3, the delivery charges apply to mainland France only, excluding Corsica. Deliveries to Corsica are subject to specific conditions.

In the event of a shipping delay, you will receive an email informing you of any potential impact on the delivery timeframe that was indicated to you.

In accordance with legal provisions, in the event of a delivery delay, you have the option to cancel the order under the terms and conditions defined in Article L 138-2 of the French Consumer Code. If you receive the product in the meantime, we will proceed with a full refund, including shipping costs, in accordance with Article L 138-3 of the French Consumer Code.

In the event of delivery by a carrier, SAS MRJ Concept cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due exclusively to the customer's unavailability after several proposed appointments.

MRJ Concept draws your attention to:

1. It is strongly advised to keep the packaging in case of product return.

2. If the goods were damaged during transport, the buyer must systematically note the nature of the problem in writing on the delivery slip. If no reservation is noted on the delivery slip, the delivery will be deemed to conform to the order, and the customer will bear all costs related to the anomalies and/or damage observed. In case of a problem, we advise our customers to contact us within 48 hours of delivery; otherwise, no claim can be made to the carriers.
Important: The phrase "subject to unpacking" has no legal value. If the merchandise is too damaged, the buyer must refuse the package and contact customer service to arrange for a replacement shipment, if the product is still in stock.

Article 10 – Guarantees and After-Sales Service

All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, as provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event of a product's non-conformity, it may be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

All claims, requests for exchanges or refunds must be made by email ( contact@belveo.com ) or by mail (MRJ Concept - 10 rue de la Victoire - 75009 Paris), with the postmark serving as proof of mailing date. We recommend using email for faster processing of your request.

Products must be returned to us in the condition in which you received them, with all components (accessories, packaging, instructions, etc.). Shipping costs will be refunded based on the amount charged, and return shipping costs will be refunded upon presentation of proof of payment.

The provisions of this Article do not prevent you from exercising your right of withdrawal as provided for in Article 7.

1. Guarantees

1.1 Guarantees for parasols and refurbished parasols (products purchased in 2025)

Parasols purchased before 2025 are covered by the following commercial warranties:

- Structure: 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and imperfections

- Polyester fabric: 2-year warranty against fading

- Olefin fabric: 5-year guarantee against fading

- Acrylic canvas: 5-year guarantee against fading

1.2 Garden Furniture Guarantees

Belveo offers a 3-year commercial warranty, covering discoloration and abnormal deterioration of products resulting from normal use.

2. Conditions for application of the warranty

Verification upon receipt:

 - It is imperative to check the conformity of the products upon receipt. No claim related to the conformity of the delivery will be accepted after a period of three days following the date of receipt.

- In the event of any apparent damage upon receipt, reservations must be made with the carrier. These reservations must be detailed, written, and specify the damage observed on the product on the delivery note (example: tears in the canvas). Simply mentioning damaged packaging does not constitute a sufficient reservation.

Claims in case of defects:

- If a defect is noticed upon delivery in the presence of the delivery person, it is possible to note your reservations on the delivery slip and refuse the goods, requesting that the product be brought into compliance under the warranty. Your reservations must be specific and document the defects or damage observed on the product.

You can invoke the legal guarantee of conformity within two years of delivery for a defect in the product or its assembly instructions. To do so, contact us at contact@belveo.com. If the parts needed for repair are not available, a product replacement may be considered.

Required documents:

To claim under the warranty, you must keep the purchase invoice for the product and all accessories that were delivered. If the order is recent, providing us with the order number will allow us to locate your purchase. Photographs documenting the damage must also be provided.

3. Warranty Exclusions

3.1 General Exclusions

In the case of product rental, the commercial warranties provided for in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) do not apply. This exclusion extends to all components of the rented products, including the structure, canvases, and garden furniture.

3.2 Exclusions for the structure:

- Damage caused by improper use of the product, including prolonged exposure to winds exceeding force 7 (60+ km/h) when open or winds exceeding force 9 (88+ km/h) when closed. Belveo may verify the weather conditions preceding any claim.

- Damage resulting from inadequate ballast in terms of dimensions, weight, and positioning according to the parasol model (minimum 80 kg for straight parasols, minimum 100 kg for cantilever parasols up to 3x3m, and minimum 120 kg for cantilever parasols 3x4m). This ballast must form a unit or be attached to the base and cover an area of ​​at least 1 m² on the ground.

- Corrosion and traces of rust due to salt air (20 km coastal zone) in the absence of regular rinsing, as well as sounds produced by the action of wind or elements during the use of the product, without compromising its structural integrity.

- Failure to maintain in accordance with the "Maintenance Precautions" section.

- Defects resulting from causes external to the intrinsic qualities of the product.

- Parts subject to natural wear and tear related to the aging of the product.

3.3 Exclusions for canvases:

- Damage related to abnormal, inappropriate or unusual use, such as washing at temperatures above 30°C or improper storage.

- Defects resulting from causes external to the intrinsic qualities of the product.

- Failure to maintain in accordance with the "Maintenance Precautions" section.

- Normal wear and tear due to use and natural aging.

- Use of abrasive products or unsuitable cleaning products for maintenance.

Please note that slight color variations may occur if the canvas is changed.

3.4 General exclusions for garden furniture:

  • Variation in the wood's color over time due to normal wear and tear of the product.
  • Damage caused by an external object (e.g., a scratch from keys) on all components.
  • Condition of cushions, foams and fabrics that have not been regularly maintained.

4. Maintenance Precautions

4.1 Regular maintenance of parasols:

- During assembly and after winter storage: It is necessary to check that the screws are tight and to perform a general inspection of the structure and the fabric. An initial opening in calm weather is recommended to allow for a complete check.

- Several times during the season: In particular, after each strong wind or every five openings, it is recommended to check the tightness of the main screws, connector bolts, and the condition of the fabric. If the axles are loose, applying threadlocker is advised before reassembly.

- Annually (or up to 3 times a year for intensive use) : Check that all screws are tight, grease moving parts, and clean the structure with clean water and mild soap. The structure should then be air-dried.

4.2 Specific maintenance:

- In coastal areas: Rinsing parts exposed to salt air with clean water is required every two weeks. Complete drying of the parts before reassembly is also recommended. It is strongly recommended to store your product during winter storage to prevent prolonged exposure to salt air.

- In case of exposure to corrosive materials : Immediate cleaning with a non-abrasive cleaner is required.

- In case of abnormal noise or movement : It is necessary to disassemble the affected part, inspect it, and then clean it with a non-abrasive cleaner. The mechanical parts must be lubricated before reassembly. If in doubt, it is advisable to contact customer service (contact@belveo.com).

4.3 Regular maintenance of garden furniture:

- Rinse regularly with fresh water. Use a soft cloth and soap (such as black soap) for routine maintenance.

- Do not use corrosive products or brushes for cleaning.

- If the paint and undercoat treatment are deeply scored, apply a water-repellent varnish (transparent or the color of your product, ideally two-component) to prevent water/air penetration and the formation of bubbles under the paint.

5. Additional conditions

Since October 2022, our products are fully repairable. If a part proves defective during the warranty period, your sole recourse will be the repair or replacement of the defective part according to the terms defined by Belveo's after-sales service. Our parts are also available to order on our website for out-of-warranty repairs.

- Replacing a spare part does not extend the warranty on the product.

6. Specific conditions for refurbished parasols

The refurbished parasols offered for sale come with the same warranties as new products, except for any signs of wear or minor cosmetic imperfections inherent to the refurbishment process. These parasols undergo rigorous inspection before being offered for sale, thus guaranteeing their functionality.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic defects due to normal wear and tear, repairs carried out before the sale, or prior use of the product.

Article 11 - Responsibility

The products offered comply with current French legislation. MRJ Concept SAS cannot be held liable for non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the product is delivered. It is your responsibility to check with local authorities regarding the import or use of the products or services you intend to order.

Furthermore, SAS MRJ Concept cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from misuse of the purchased product.

Finally, SAS MRJ Concept cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet network, including service interruptions, external intrusions, or the presence of computer viruses.

Article 12 - Applicable Law in Case of Disputes

The language of this contract is French. These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The seller reserves the right to choose the competent court.

Article 13 - Intellectual Property

All elements of the website https://www.belveo.fr/ are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of SAS MRJ Concept. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, redistribute, or use in any way whatsoever, even partially, any elements of the website, whether software, visual, or audio. Any simple or hypertext link is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of SAS MRJ Concept.

Article 14 - Personal Data

MRJ Concept SAS reserves the right to collect personal information and data about you. This information is necessary for processing your order, as well as for improving the services and information we provide to you.

They can also be transmitted to companies that contribute to these relationships, such as those responsible for the execution of services and orders for their management, execution, processing and payment.

This information and data is also kept for security purposes, in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

In accordance with the law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and object to personal information and data concerning you, directly on the website.

Article 15 - Archiving

SAS MRJ Concept will archive purchase orders and invoices on a reliable and durable medium constituting a faithful copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the Civil Code.

The computerized records of SAS MRJ Concept will be considered by all parties concerned as proof of communications, orders, payments and transactions between the parties.
