Personal data
PRIVACY POLICY
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of laws implemented by the European Commission on May 25, 2018, for all companies operating in Europe. At BELVEO, we are therefore affected!
To protect internet users from data leaks or the misuse of personal data, it is now mandatory for companies to inform visitors of all computer processing carried out using the data collected.
Like all e-commerce businesses, we collect data on our users and work with several third-party providers (logistics companies and carriers), who therefore have access to some of our data. This data is essential to provide you with the best possible experience on our site and ensure the smooth processing of your order.
Does Belveo resell my personal data?
No! And we never will! Some companies exchange customer files for marketing purposes, but that's not the case at Belveo. All the data we collect stays with us and will never be given, rented, or sold to a third party.
Is my bank card number safe?
For credit card payments, we work with a French payment provider, Monetico Paiement, which guarantees the security of your data. We never have access to your credit card number. Our provider holds numerous certifications demonstrating the security of their IT system: https://www.monetico-paiement.fr/fr/securiser-transactions/garanties-securite.html
What personal data do you collect about me and what is it used for?
• Order
When you create a customer account on our site, we record in our systems all the information necessary to place an order: your email, your first and last name, your postal address and your telephone number in order to prepare and deliver your package.
This order data is transmitted to the various service providers who work to ensure that your package arrives at your home: our logistics provider who prepares the package and the carrier who delivers it to your home.
They have absolutely no right to use your data for anything other than processing your order and must delete this data from their computer system after processing.
• Newsletter
If you have given us your consent, we also use your email address to send you our monthly newsletter. Please note that if you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter. The change will take effect immediately.
• Statistics
In order to continuously improve, we use software and services operated by third-party providers that allow us to better understand our business. As such, we share data from our customer database, your browsing history on our website, and information about products ordered with these tools.
Like most online retailers, we track your visits to show you targeted ads when you browse other websites. This process does not involve any personal data, and neither the advertising network nor the third-party sites displaying our ads have access to your personal information.
However, if you no longer wish to see our advertisements, you can delete the cookies from your web browser.

Data retention
Data is retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. When we no longer need your personal data to provide you with our full services, we will ensure that it is completely deleted or anonymized.
What if I want to modify or delete the data you have about me at your institution?
It couldn't be simpler. Write to us at contact@belveo.fr. Your request must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of your identity document.
In accordance with data protection law, you are indeed entitled to:
• Request a copy of all information held about you
• Request a correction to your personal data
• Request a complete deletion of your account and personal data.
In accordance with the "Data Protection Act", a response will be provided as soon as possible and at the latest within one month of the request.
