Wash the cushion covers
All the cushions on your furniture have removable and washable covers. The foam is suitable for outdoor use and requires no maintenance. If machine washing, be sure to close the zippers and remove the wooden inserts before washing.
MANUAL WASHING
Prepare a solution of 150ml of mild soap per liter of lukewarm water. Soak the fabric, gently rub with a sponge or soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow the fabric to air dry.
STUBBORN STAINS
Use a bleach solution. Mix 1 liter of water, 150 ml of mild soap, and 5 cl of bleach in a spray bottle. Spray the entire affected area, never just on one spot. Let it sit for 10 minutes, clean with a sponge, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry.
OIL STAINS
Use an absorbent material (cornstarch, for example) and then scrape off the paint (with a paint scraper or the back of a knife, for example). Mix warm water with mild soap, clean the canvas with a clean cloth, rinse with clean water, and then let it air dry.
MACHINE WASH
Remove the cover and close the zippers. Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle with your usual amount of detergent. If mold appears, add 5 cl of bleach (start the machine immediately to dissolve it). Allow the fabric to air dry.
MAINTAINING THE PARTS
MADE OF ALUMINUM
Never scrub the surface with abrasive products or brushes . Rinse the metal sheets with clean water, then gently clean them with a clean cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Rinse again and allow to air dry.
For stubborn stains, use a specialized cleaner suitable for powder coating. In case of scratches, thoroughly clean the area, then apply a protective clear coat (such as automotive clear coat with a brush or touch-up pen).
Allow to dry in a dry place and cover to prevent dust from affecting the finish.
CARING FOR WOODEN FEET
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your wooden legs, opt for natural and suitable solutions. Avoid applying varnishes or waterproof coatings , which prevent the wood from breathing.
To restore its shine, use a natural, untinted hard oil specifically designed for outdoor use. Begin by cleaning the wood with a wood degreaser or soapy water, then brush and allow to dry thoroughly. Apply the chosen oil or saturator with a brush, in successive "wet-on-wet" coats, until the wood no longer absorbs the product. Wipe off any excess with a clean cloth and let it dry. The result? Revitalized wood with an elegant matte finish.
To prevent the wood from turning gray, repeat the process as soon as the lightening appears. However, be aware that this graying is a natural phenomenon that gives the black locust a luminous silvery hue over time.
Preserve the quality of your rug
To keep your rug in perfect condition, adopt these simple and effective steps.
STRIVE
Vacuum it regularly to remove dust and dirt. In case of stains, clean immediately with a damp cloth, following the same recommendations as for your furniture covers.
TO CLEAN
For stubborn stains, high-pressure water cleaning is ideal. Place the rug in a suitable area, spray it from a distance of 30-50 cm with a high-pressure hose. Scrub with a stiff brush and a soapy water solution, then rinse.
LET DRY
Then let the rug air dry completely. If possible, hang it up to help it dry faster. With these simple steps, your rug will stay pristine and ready to beautify your outdoor spaces.
