Materials

The product is designed in Marseille, France, and manufactured in Portugal.

The Plug and Play base for straight and offset parasols ismade of corrosion-resistant treated steel, with a first coat of zinc-based paint and a three-coat finish in two-component powder paint.


Friction discs and screwsmade of A4 (316L) stainless steelThe friction parts are the two silver discs located on the base and on the removable disc. The locking pin is also made of stainless steel for the mechanism part, and black plastic for the handle part.

The Plug and Play base is easy to install. Simply secure the base to the ground and then attach the fixing tube for a straight parasol or directly to the removable disc for your cantilever parasol base.


Please note that the fixing tube for the straight parasol is not supplied.

Delivery

Delivery is usually made within7 to 10 business days(Excluding pre-orders). You will be able to choose your preferred carrier and delivery service when you confirm your order. In all cases, you will be able to select a delivery time slot. Delivery is made to the ground floor of your building or house. If you wish to estimate your delivery costs, add products to your cart, then click on the "i" at the top of the product page next to the estimated delivery date to run the simulation. For orders containing pre-ordered items, we schedule shipment once all items are in stock.

Guarantees and maintenance

The Plug and Play base for straight and offset parasols is2-year warranty.

To keep your cross stand in good condition, here are a few tips:

Rinse regularly with fresh water. Use a soft cloth and mild soap (such as black soap) for routine maintenance. Do not use corrosive products or brushes for cleaning. If the paint and undercoat are deeply damaged, apply a water-repellent varnish (clear or the same color as your product, ideally two-component) to prevent water/air penetration and rust formation.

Dimensions and weight

The Plug and Play fixed base for straight and offset parasols consists of a base to be fixed to the ground and a removable disc to be attached to your parasol.

The base has a diameter of 35cm and a height of 2cm (including 5mm spacers). Four holes are pre-drilled in the base for floor mounting (these four holes and bores are designed for 8mm DIN912 socket head cap screws, which we supply). It is isolated from the floor by four stainless steel spacers, making it easier to clean your foot and preventing rust.

The removable disc has a diameter of 19cm and a height of 1cm + locking pin. It has 4 fixing holes for a straight parasol (hole spacing: 13cm) and 4 fixing holes for an offset parasol (hole spacing: 16cm).

- 4 short Ø8mm socket head cap screws for fixing 2023 central parasols (DIN912 A4 M8x12mm)

- 4 long Ø8mm socket head cap screws for fixing 2023 cantilever parasols (DIN912 A4 M8x20mm)

- 4 washers Ø8mm thick. 1mm (DIN125 A4 M8)

The screws for fixing to the floor are not supplied, as this depends on the type of floor on which the base will be fixed.

Compatibility

The Plug and Play base is compatible with Aura straight parasols (all sizes) and Mistral cantilever parasols (all sizes).

An easy-to-attach stand for added versatility

Unlike traditional "embedded" feet, our plug-and-play foot requires minimal tools and labor for installation. A simple hammer drill, chemical anchoring if needed, and appropriate wall plugs/bolts (not included) depending on the floor type are all you need. If you need to move it, the only remaining components in contact with the floor are the four chosen inserts, typically 8mm in diameter. It is compatible with all good-quality hard floors (concrete, stone, etc.) as long as the chosen fixing hardware is suitable and correctly sized.
