Materials

The Meltem wheeled base for cantilever parasols is made ofblack plasticwith acorrosion-resistant treated steel frameIt is equipped with 3 casters, one of which rotates 360°.

To fill the wheeled base with water and/or sand, simply remove the filler cap located on the side of the base and fill it. Once finished, replace the cap.

To move the base, turn the crank to extend the main wheel. This wheel is the steering wheel; along with two other fixed wheels, it allows you to move the parasol as needed. To rotate the pole of your Belveo cantilever parasol, simply press the rotating pedal included with your parasol with your foot. This pedal attaches to the wheeled base. You can then position your parasol as desired. Release the rotating pedal, and your parasol will be locked in that position.

Delivery

Delivery is usually made within7 to 10 business days(Excluding pre-orders). You will be able to choose your preferred carrier and delivery service when you confirm your order. In all cases, you will be able to select a delivery time slot. Delivery is made to the ground floor of your building or house. If you wish to estimate your delivery costs, add products to your cart, then click on the "i" at the top of the product page next to the estimated delivery date to run the simulation. For orders containing pre-ordered items, we schedule shipment once all items are in stock.

The Meltem wheeled base for cantilever parasols is2-year warrantyDefects mentioned on product sheets at the time of purchase (such as scratches) are not covered by the warranty.

Maintenance advice:
Rinse regularly with fresh water. Use a soft cloth and mild soap (such as black soap) for routine maintenance. Do not use corrosive products or brushes for cleaning.

Dimensions and weight

The Meltem wheeled base for cantilever parasols has a square shape of 87x87x25cm. It weighs 18.5kg and, once weighted, a maximum of 120kg.

Compatibility

The Meltem wheeled stand is compatible withall Mistral cantilever parasols.

The Ponant model is our first version of the Kona wheeled base. Compatible with all our Belveo cantilever parasols, it's the essential accessory for properly weighting your parasol while still allowing for easy movement. It can be filled with water or sand for optimal stability. With just a few turns of the crank, you can extend and retract the wheels for easy repositioning.
